ProofMyCert exists for a simple reason: online certificates are everywhere, but trust isn't.
Why we started
Like most developers, we had certificates scattered across a dozen platforms. Coursera here, AWS there, Google Cloud somewhere else, plus a few Credly badges we forgot we had. When a recruiter asked us to prove our skills, we had two options: send ten different links, or send a PDF screenshot that anyone could fake.
Neither felt honest. And neither felt professional.
So we built ProofMyCert: one link that gathers every certificate you've earned, with cryptographic verification that makes the whole thing impossible to fake. Not a portfolio. Not a badge wall. A verifiable credential hub.
What we believe
Verification over decoration
A certificate that can't be verified is just a picture. We'd rather have three verified certificates than fifty unverifiable ones.
Radical transparency
We publish what we verify, what we don't, and why. Our verification engine is open source. If we can't explain how something works, we shouldn't ship it.
Privacy is not a feature
It's a right. You own your data. You can export it or delete it whenever you want. We don't sell user data, and we never will.
No privilege games
Paid plans get extra tools, not extra visibility. We don't rank profiles by subscription tier. Every user gets the same fair chance.
Who's behind this
ProofMyCert is built by a small, independent team. We're not a funded startup chasing metrics. We're developers who got tired of sending PDFs and decided to build the tool we wanted to use.
